I love movies! Movies & books! Books & movies! Movies made out of books! It's all magick to me...
And- seeing as the Summer of 2014 is fast coming to a close, I was feeling like revisiting that list and adding a few awesome Must-Sees. So- here they are, highly recommended by yours truly..
1. The Way Way Back : A bitter-sweet coming of age story that will definitely pull on your heart-strings and may make you hate Steve Carrell. (Remember- it's pretend, people! He's just acting...)
2. A Walk On The Moon : Diane Lane and Viggo Mortenson have the hottest, steamiest, dreamiest affair ever ever ever! Seriously. Bowchicabowow...
3. Moonrise Kingdom : Wonderfully quirky. Sweet. Wistful. Nostalgic. All good things.
BONUS POINTS: If Jon Favreau's Chef is still playing in your area, I strongly urge you to make a date of it! It'd also be great for mature kids, especially boys who are fast on their way to becoming young men. This movie is so refreshing, a much-needed respite from the season's loud, in-your-face blockbusters...
