For the past few years I have been using the word "Namaste" as more than just a greeting or friendly sign off.

I've been living it to the best of my ability on a daily basis.

The way you live Namaste is to set aside judgement & quite the mind while interacting with other people so that you can fully take in the person beneath the persona & see the Spirit within.

This works great with animals, too!

When I am living Namaste, I am always amazed by how other people respond. People KNOW when you are giving them the respect of your full presence & really seeing who they are. That sense of being seen is something that we all crave.

I can think of no greater gift that a parent could give a child or a husband could give his wife.

It's a beautiful way to conduct a friendship, and it works just as well over the phone as it does in person.

It may also surprise you when you find yourself able to put Namaste into practice while dealing with especially difficult people or someone you don't like. You may find yourself seeing them in a whole new light, and they may, in return, do the same for you.
