What is Biz Witchery?
It is the online entrepreneurship of healers, creators, pathfinders, spiritual guides and all kinds of magick-makers.
A BiZ WiTCH is, in my possibly biased estimation, a very special person with very special gifts. She (or He) is the light of the business world, a refreshing change of pace from the linear-thinking, patriarchal, buttoned up professionalism of the past.
Make no mistake, she IS professional, but in a more fluid & deeply personal way...
Biz Witchery is personal. It's about making real human connections.
It's also got a lot to do with creativity and that is why one of the challenges that is unique to this way of being in the world has to do with run away flights of fancy- especially in the beginning...
When a BiZ WiTCH first gets wind of her soul's desire to be of service to her fellow human beings, creatures & planet by giving the gifts she was born to give, she often gets so giddy with all the delicious ideas running through her veins, that she jumps straight into action, into doing all of the fun, artsy things that make Biz Witchery so enticing...
She selects a cool, witchy business name that is fun to say, a catchy color scheme, maybe even a kickass slogan and then throws together a nifty-looking website using one of the many free templates available online.
She probably creates a Facebook page and sends a request out to all of her friends to please Like her page.

Have you seen other people do this?
It often involves an Etsy shop that sells tarot readings, herbal soaps, handmade art or charming spell kits, and, unfortunately... it often is short-lived.
Don't get me wrong- I think that these types of businesses are AWESOME. In fact- they're my favorite kind & the whole reason I started this BiZ WiTCH series to begin with.
However- this is a call to take a step back.
If you are about to look before you leap into creating one of these popular businesses from a moment of heated insight and delirious enthusiasm- please- just take a moment of pause.
I mean, sure- give yourself a week, a day or even a year to revel in the possibilities, write it all down, map it, paint it, sing it, put it in a collage.
But then, after all of that soul-quaking exploration is done, its time to do some basic assessment, check in with yourself, work the numbers, and really consider how it is you want to feel on a day to day basis and if the daily tasks required to make that dream a reality are in sync with that.
That's what I'm talking about here today in my latest BiZ WiTCH video & I hope it will inspire you to approach your dream with careful consideration...
