BOOK NERD : Kickass Quotes From Awaken The Giant Within by Anthony Robbins

This is the post that REALLY puts the NERD in "Book Nerd", and I am proud to share it with you.

I also want you to know that you are NOT too cool for Anthony Robbins. You might think you are too cool for Anthony Robbins, but I am betting that you're not.

The thing about Anthony Robbins (or Tony, as he refers to himself now) is that he is larger than life, he has a ton of energy, and he built his career in part by the power of the late night infomercial. This might lead some to assume that he is not to be taken seriously.

That would be a mistake.

I have been following Anthony Robbins and applying the principles of his best selling book, Awaken The Giant Within, since I was 17 years old.

His work has helped me through many a challenging time, and I still, 20+ years later, refer to it when I need a boost or am trying to bust through an especially stubborn block.

The ability to change your state at will, condition your own emotional reactions to certain triggers or consciously form new beliefs is, in my humble opinion, all kinds of magickal, and that is the sort of thing you will learn by diving into and whole-heartedly applying the principles in this book.

So the jacket is a little corny? Who cares?! Cover that sh!t up with some kickass wrapping paper & get down to the business of getting down to the business within...

I promise- it is extremely GOOD STUFF.

"Emotion is created by motion. Everything that we feel is the result of how we use our bodies. Even the most minute changes in our facial expressions or our gestures will shift the way that we're feeling in any moment, and therefore the way we evaluate our lives- the way we think and the way we act." -Tony Robbins

"Any pattern of emotion or behavior that is continually reinforced will become an automatic and conditioned response. Anything we fail to reinforce will eventually dissipate." -Tony Robbins
