The Weekly Witch Review #8 : Free The Nipples, Elderflower Lemonade, The Museum Of Witchcraft, 50 Cent's Maleficent Parody & More!
TGiF Witches...
Welcome to the latest edition of "The Weekly Witch Review", a kickass guide to all things new & exciting (or at least new & exciting to me) on the wonderfully wacky world wide web...
★ There is plenty of magickal folklore surrounding the elder tree, and it's various parts are said to hold powerful medicinal properties, but I think the best reason to make this Elderflower Lemonade is simply for the pleasure. Connect with nature. Make something beautiful. And have a sweet treat to boot!
★ Super Rad News... Nepal Readies First-Ever Witchcraft Act To Protect Women.
★ SECRET SiGNALS : Mystery is good. Magic is all around you. You never know where you'll find what your looking for....
★ Ha! Ha! Ha! Get Witch Or Die Tryin'...
★ If you believe that like attracts like and that you'll get more of whatever it is you are focusing on, you might want to take a tip from Hillary Rubin and nix the Drama Bonding.
★ Pretty sure I need one of these LittleDoe Head Pieces. A "Peasant Crown" for $825??? LOL. Um... yeah- I want it anyway.
★ The Museum Of Witchcraft gets shortlisted for Best Museum Award.
★ Digging these Sacred Fashion Icons...
★ Loving this article Scout Willis wrote about body politics and why she walked around NYC topless & documented it on twitter. #FreeTheNipples
★ Is food the new sex? Melissa Grabau, PhD, author of The Yoga Of Food, thinks so!
★ Alexander "Sasha" Shulgin, The Last Alchemist, experienced the ultimate transformation as he passed on to whatever-comes-next at the age of 88...
★ I believe this is my third StyleLikeU share since starting the Weekly Witch Review, but I can't help myself! I so LOVE to get to peek inside groovy people's wardrobes & hear all about their unique style philosophies. This week's theme, Ageless Dailies, has totally got my number . I am especially smitten with 83 year old dancer, Carmen De Lavallade, in her charming red dress and Yamuna Zake's flowing gray hair and kickass declaration that there's something good behind everything.
★ Awww... this DiY Heart Planter is so dang cute. I've got to try it! Mainly because succulents are one of the few plants I am able to keep alive for extended periods of time, but also because I'm a sucker for girlie heart-shaped things.
★ WiTCHY VLOG OF THE WEEK : Tara Incognita has a problem! This to me is what vlogging is all about, real people sharing their views in a rambly conversational way & having a FREE forum to do so. Plus, I just love this woman...
★ Tuesday's Episode Of HiPPiE WiTCH : Magick For A New Age...

"Shulgin was also one of the great psychonauts -
an intrepid explorer and experimentalist of the mind
who knocked on as many of the doors of perception
that he could during his stay on Earth."
