EROTOSCOPE : Breast Squishing, Flower Pot Humor And The Raunchiest Thing I've Ever Said Online...

If you are sensitive to dirty jokes & sexually provocative gestures, this is NOT the post for you.

And- if you are sensitive to those things & you decide to read on anyway...

Please don't judge. I do have a point here, and besides that-

Clarissa Pinkola Estes made me do it!!!

You know she has a PhD after her name, right? That's got to count for something...

There's also a reason I am grabbing my boobs & threatening to talk out my vagina in this video.

If you've read Women Who Run With The Wolves, you'll totally get why.

(Baubo anyone???)

If not- well- I'll just let you think I'm crazy. A little crazy makes life a little more wild & wild's what I'm aiming for...

"In laughter, a woman breathes fully, and when she does she may begin to feel unsanctioned feelings. And what could these feelings be? Well, they turn out not to be feelings so much as relief and remedies for feelings, often causing the release of stopped-up tears and the reclamation of forgotten memories, or the bursting of chains of the sensual personality." -Clarissa Pinkola Estes, PhD

We live in an almost Puritanical society when it comes to "the rules" around sex, especially when you compare Western culture to "less sophisticated" cultures around the world.

I think this kind of sexual repression actually creates perversion, because we are sexual creatures and you just can't beat, threaten or shame that out of us. You can only push it into the shadows.

So- in that way- I can see how raunchy humor & dirty jokes can be a kind of sacred healing art.

The deep belly laughs this kind of humor evokes is born of equal parts shock and release.

Seeing as I am a person who believes our emotions are stored in our bodies and might eventually fester into disease if not given full expression... I would also have no problem referring to comedians like Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer as Obscene Goddesses, Priestesses of Sweet Release, Warriors Of Sexual Healing!

They really go there- often at their own expense- and for that I will be eternally grateful.

"It is the body that laughs at coyote stories, Uncle Trungpa stories, Mae West lines, and so forth. The mischief and humor of the obscene Goddesses can cause a vital form of medicine to spread throughout the endocrine and neurological systems of the body." - Clarissa Pinkola Estes. PhD

This is the book I told you about in the video. It's called Erotoscope by Tom Ungerer, and it is deeply nasty....

This montage of a few of it's tamer illustrations is the best I could do here without getting myself flagged for porn!

And- if you'd like to explore other, less raunchy ways of un-kinking your flow this summer, I recommend checking out the Autumn Transition....
