(excerpt) chapter one...

A Magickal Approach To Money

There is a stigma attached to money in certain witchy circles. It’s a stigma that says that money and spiritually are mutually exclusive, meaning “Shame on you for having or wanting great wealth.”

Unfortunately, this has had a far-reaching effect into the hearts and minds of some of the most caring healers and lightworkers on the planet- the very people who could literally change the world with the power bestowed upon the rich.

Why should prosperity exclusively be in the hands of the greedy when so much good can be done with it?

Um… well… it’s not.

Greed is what many people who think they must shun wealth in favor of living a more “spiritual” life equate with money.

If you are one of those people, I challenge you now to rethink that.

In 2014 alone (according to GivingUSA.org), Americans donated an estimated $358.38 billion to charity, with 72 percent of that coming from private individuals, and I would venture a guess that not all of those contributions were made out of some twisted desire to get a better tax right off.

As long as you hold suspicion like that in your heart, your heart will remain closed to money. You are drawing a line in the sand that separates “us” from “them”, and the Us Camp you have firmly placed yourself in is the one that will always struggle to make ends meet.

When you struggle to make ends meet, your life force energy is compromised, time shrinks, stress chips away at your wellbeing and choices are made that would not have been made otherwise.

That does not make you morally superior to someone who has more freedom of choice.

Rich people are people too, and their money is not a mark of shame. It’s leverage.

Great wealth is a super power. It’s the power to effect real change on a global scale.

Can your money do that?

“Money is neither my god nor my devil. It is a form of energy that tends to make us more of who we already are, whether it’s greedy or loving.” - Dan Millman

Instead of judging other people for what they’re doing with their money, I propose that you get excited about making some yourself by focusing on what creating your own personal fortune could accomplish.

Now would be a great time to bust out a piece of paper and start making a list.

What could money, lots and lots of money, do for you?

Here are a few ideas to get the juices flowing…

    •    It could get you out of debt.

    •    It could allow you to quit your job and start following your passion as an artist or entrepreneur.

    •    It could take you around the world in style.

    •    It could send your kids (or yourself) to college.

    •    It could retire your parents.

    •    It could keep your pantry and fridge stocked with wholesome, organic, non-GMO food round the clock.

Here’s another way of looking at it and another list worth building on…

What could YOU do with lots and lots of money?

    •    You could significantly contribute to your favorite charitable organization.

    •    You could throw a lavish Christmas party for all of the underprivileged kids in your hometown.

    •    You could get your sister, best friend or grandma out of debt.

    •    You could sponsor a cancer patient by paying all of their medical expenses.

    •    You could save a small business you love from going bankrupt.

    •    You could protect a special piece of land from real estate developers.

I hope you’ll take the time to create a couple lists like this of your own, imagining all the wonderful possibilities, because that is the kind of energy you will need to set yourself free financially and the sooner you can tap into that vibe, the sooner you will be able to experience the coordinating reality.

The trick is in activating some genuine emotion. Emotion married to a clear, focused intention is magnetic. It creates the kind of energy that facilitates real magick (ie. change in conformity with one’s will), so be sure to add things to your lists that truly light you up and ignite a sense of passion.

It may not be enough to create your personal fortune, but it’s enough to get the ball rolling. Hopefully, the rest of what I am about to share will keep it rolling and have you gaining momentum with every passing financial milestone.

“Enthusiasm is the energy and force that builds literal momentum of the human soul and mind.”  -Bryant McGill

This is a highly creative approach to building your personal fortune. It is for those with an active imagination and a fondness for magick but for whom the mechanics of money leaves them feeling cold, uninspired, overwhelmed and shut down.

That’s not to say it isn’t practical. It absolutely is.

It is practical in that it encourages you to use a magickal mindset to leverage yourself into taking action on your own financial behalf.

You are going to learn how to use the magick of myth and metaphor, energy work and personal healing to open the portals of prosperity so that beautiful streams of financial abundance can begin flowing into your life right away, bringing you to a point where you can finally say in full confidence and without shame…

I am a rich witch.
