Sharing From A Place Of Vulnerability Creates Real Connection...

How have you documented the most memorable moments of your life?

I think it's fair to say that before the internet most of us relied on photographs, scrapbooks, journals, maybe some trophies & knick-knacks and perhaps the occasional home movie.

Our memories were tangible. We could hold them, sniff them, pass them around.

While that notion may seem quaint to those raised in the digital age, I will always cherish the sensual experience such documentation provides.

I love my vision boards, my collection of personal treasures, my paper date books and my every sloppy, tear-stained journal.

Having said that, I've also come to appreciate the oh-so-modern digital forms of documenting life's precious little moments through Instagram and especially vlogging, although vlogging takes vulnerability to a whole new level.

Every time I post one of my MEGA VLOGS I am gripped by a fleeting moment of regret~

I probably shouldn't have laughed or sang or cried so much...

People are going to think I'm nuts...

I am nuts!

And yet- the feedback I get on these is some of the most enthusiastic & sincere. I believe that's because humans relate to humanness and we're each a little nuts in our own special way.

And so...

The nut in me honors the nut in you & I hereby present you with... MEGA VLOG #13.

"We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection." -Brené Brown
