How To Spot A Turning Point In Your Personal Life Story
Do you believe work can feel like play?
Did you know that you don't have to push beyond your energetic limits or suffer and struggle and race against time to make a living?
For a long time I did not.
I know it's commonly said, but I really didn't know that going with the flow would make my life so much easier.
I guess I just didn't know what that actually meant.
I did not know that going with the flow is not about checking out.
It's about checking in.
It's about flowing within the reality of my current situation.
The currency of creativity will carry you along if you flow within the limits of what is.
If you try to swim against it, it won't and your life will be hard.
Does this seem obvious to you?
To me, for a long time, it wasn't.
I just didn't get it until I ended up breaking under enormous pressure and had to discover this old truth for myself.
That happened in the fall of 2020, which turned out to be one of my life's most significant turning points.
When was the last big turning point for you?
A turning point is the point of no return.
It stands out as a monument to change, clearly marking the distinction between everything that came before it and everything that will come after.
A turning point can happen to you by external means in the form of a natural disaster, unexpectedly getting fired from your job or landing a career-making opportunity.
It can be induced by a shocking diagnosis, a marriage proposal or the death of a loved one.
It can also be generated from within, often as the result of building inner tension, like it did with me in the example used in this video.
Such a turning point happens when you get so sick of your own shit that you (finally!) refuse to put up with it anymore.
Your life story then gets a major plot twist.
Has that ever happened to you?
