I know this, because I've experienced it repeatedly.
For one thing, it has created (or- I should say- the people using it have created) an active, thriving community of witches who regularly interact & commune with each other. So- there's that.
Secondly, it serves as a concentrated model of the way this magickal Universe we call home works.
It does this most stunningly (some would say most creepily) with it's hyper-sensitive algorithms, which continuously refine your online experience by showing you more of what you've already been looking at.
These algorithms reflect both the psychological mind-f#ck known as The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon and the more mystically-attributed phenomenon we seekers like to call synchronicity.
It's also a reflection of that good ol' Law Of Attraction maxim, Like Attracts Like.
The more you like something, the more of it is drawn toward you.
And then, of course, as Diana Chin shared in that kickass Emoji Spell she made for us in honor of the new year, it can be used in a deliberate way to perform acts of magick.
I myself have been experimenting with this idea of online magick in the form a very special Pinterest board I keep strictly for the purpose of manifestation.
